BLTs - dj in kc - 07-05-2023
Tonight is the last BLT fest until we can use homegrown maters instead of Kumato's. I think I'll try half with Alabama White Sauce and half with the usual Dukes and hot sauce. Homemade bacon too. I did pick one almost ripe tomato yesterday before the squirrels got it. Weird, almost an inch across - I did not plant any early girls this year.

Yeah, I can't wait. Hopefully the first of ours aren't too far off.
May cure some bacon to prepare, and stock some proper oil for making mayo.

We have one tom plant, of five, that does not look good. I hope the other 4 give us some good yields.
