Augie, you getting back on track out there? We know a handful of people that still don't have power. Our neighborhood was powered up quicker than most. Lots of houses built in 90s that had bigger trees had most issues. I feel for folks that are without power still. That's a MAJOR deal and I'd personally consider moving if I lived in an area that did not spring back as quickly as others. Being without power for a week would SUCK. RE: Ma Nature be havin' a peaceful protest - Mexas Joe - 08-17-2020 You Iowa peeps get back on track? RE: Ma Nature be havin' a peaceful protest - VolFan - 08-17-2020 I've been avoiding the news for weeks although I did hear about this. I just saw the images on NBC and damn that's some serious damage. Glad y'all are ok. RE: Ma Nature be havin' a peaceful protest - Trub Lou - 08-18-2020 Fine here. I'd like to get my chainsaw back and finish up the cleanup, but the people I gave it to are putting it to constant use at the moment. I've been too busy at work to really give it much thought. Brote, forget about your devastated life, lost chainsaw, raging epidemic of diseases and peers using the blue pill to keep up. I herd you had a birthday today. Alcohol told me to tell you to have a happy one. Or 30. Don't want to go to hardware store cause it's prolly sold out. Thinking about stepping up to the farm boss maybe?! My baby Stihl has been getting challenged way too much! |
