Buddy of mine from HS lives in Panama City Beach. He calls it LA, Lower Alabama. Tongue

If I were a little younger and didn't have a bad back I'd buy a 38 foot+ sailing yacht and take it down the Caribbean, through the Panama Canal, and head to the French Marquesas.

Catalina 27. Great lake boat but not even in the same hemisphere are a blue water rig.

Yeah, Catalinas are nice boats.
I was thinking you had something you took out into the Gulf... must be undermisremembering.
Anyway, sail is best by far!

Got a guest this weekend, supposedly, no goofy restrictions at Folly Beach or Kiawah. I'll investigate first.
We were at beach over Spring Break.  Only the public beach sections had people that close.  We stayed in a condo that had it's own section of beach, people easily could keep distance.

Dave, Zaph used to have a boat he would take out into the gulf.

I wasn't even thinking in terms of work. Man, no, that's my paradise retreat. Literally. We're looking into buying a farm. Pumpkins, petting zoo, and that chainlink gate with the rusted sign that reads, "restricted."

I don't feel like i drank enough over the weekend. Went for a half-marathon in a heat index of 115F. It was okay, but at some point i crossed over into the spirit world where they do not serve alcohol. Ironic.

Anyway, if anyone needs a medium, lmk

Been road-trippin with the Mrs, doing a Wed-Sun camper trip through Arkansas. Don't believe the redneck/meth label, this is a damn beautiful state. If my beloved Texas gets over run AR will be on my shortlist providing a coastal state won't do.

Never been there. I've been looking for a small farm in WV.

I live on an East coast beach. East coast or panhandle  is all I would live on.
