After much research I'm no longer wanting a pellet smoker. Too many cons than pros.

I have a pit boss.
Use Kingsford pellets.
They are one of the few that when you buy maple , cherry etc pellets, are actually 100% that wood.
Most are various hardwood and the labeled wood.
