RE: Summer Vacation 2020 - Yes or No?! - Trub Lou - 07-27-2020 I've long said I'd consider living on one of the coasts if some kind of pandemic would wipe out about 98% of the people there. I wouldn't say I could hope for such a thing, but between covid and the rioters, it seems like it could be on the table now. RE: Summer Vacation 2020 - Yes or No?! - Buzzie mcnugget - 07-27-2020 No 'vacations' for us this year with the house building and move. We are enjoying the local lakes with friends. Drove to Dale Hollow lake through the backroads in the c6 this weekend. So nice. When the Dims get their eventual unbreakable Super Majority (2028 or sooner) and they decide to starting taxing the living shit out of us taxpayers I'm selling errything and getting a small farm/ranch compound out in BFE. Either that, or live on a sailboat and pay zero property taxes and wander like a nomad. Don't believe the redneck/meth label, this is a damn beautiful state. If my beloved Texas gets over run AR will be on my shortlist providing a coastal state won't do. I have only seen the area around Charleston, but I really dig the beaches. Outer Banks sounds enticing. I'm trying to look at the silver lining by removing the emotions and seeing it as natures way of thinning the herd of the weak and old, leaving the strong. Not the hero we want, but maybe the hero we need! Lol I look forward to less traffic. Have you seen this shit where some states are considering directing corona meds to have priority for low income people? Talk about the most perverted case of reverse Darwinism you can envision! RE: Summer Vacation 2020 - Yes or No?! - Mexas Joe - 07-31-2020 yeah, I don't want my 75 y/o parents part of "the herd." RE: Summer Vacation 2020 - Yes or No?! - Augie91 - 08-06-2020 My daughter tells me thanks to snapchat that all her Iowa friends are in Florida on vacation. Hmm. RE: Summer Vacation 2020 - Yes or No?! - Mexas Joe - 08-07-2020 Muh last monkeyfighting day of work. I should have phoned this bitch in. *sigh* I need the downtime. Gdamn Covid fecking up muh vacays. |
