Bought some kids ones, bought some grownup ones. I'm kind of excited for the mortar shells.

God no. I hate fireworks because Sookie and Gidget hate fireworks. They start here around the first and continue another week.
Mostly mindless firecrackers for a bit. Hardly an aerial display.

Did a test firing of two of the 60g shells last night out of the hdpe tube. Impressive. With the length of the fuse I figured I'd have 20-30 seconds to get clear and turn around to watch. It's more like 8.

I’m not a firework guy, but I’m gunna purchase some loud airborne varieties and will launch the lot of them off on election night should Orange Man somehow actually win.

I'm actually kind of a stickler for keeping a somewhat clear head if I know I'll be messing with that stuff. As bad of a guitar player as I am, I think I'd be even worse without fingers or eyes.
