I've been dizzy all day. Like on the verge of stumbling at times. WTF?

Little episodes of idiopathic vertigo aren't all that uncommong. Usually last a few weeks and gtfo. I think it could result from viral infection if the semicircular canals (critical for perception of balance) become inflamed or otherwise affected.
I had something like this a year ago. Shortness of breath when running hills or whatever, and periodic spells of dizziness where i'd almost go down. resolved over a couple months. No brain damaaage.
