PA has a season for them (basically OCT - FEB).
Coyotes, starlings, and English sparrows are the only animals with open seasons here.

NC has an open season mid October thru Feb. I was looking, used to be, you couldn't use a firearm with coons. Looks like that has changed. I just happened to see a report on a neighboring county where this year something like 15 of 20 confirmed rabies cases were coons. I'm not opposed to keeping that population under control.

Open season day and night here in Alabama...guns, bows, swords, ninja throwing stars, whatever you need fer killin' is allowed and encouraged.

I get really ritualistic with my killin'. And I need things that are slow acting. It isn't the corpse that gets the gods hard, it's the process of dying. So serial killing only gets you one quantum of god juice at a time. But a mass death. A glorious rush of souls slamming into the gates of hell. That gets you quarts.
