Great. Now my home-cooked food can taste just like food that's been on hold at a bar

My in-laws came to town the day after christmas, and they always like to bring us extra clutter.  The latest gadget is a sous vide machine.  So not only do I get to enjoy microwave-quality food at some point just so I can say I tried it, but I need to find a place to store it until it can be dropped off at Goodwill.  Yay.

Lol.

I never understood counter gadgets. Especially when you need another counter gadget (vac seal, which has an actual purpose) to make another counter gadget work.

Less understood to me is counter clutter that has no kitchen-related function.

Yay! Boiled taste-free meat in a bag.

I have ZERO counter gadgets. The coffee pot resides in the walk-in pantry. The crock pot only comes out when in use.

Lou, how big is the reservoir?
You might be able to soak your tired feet in it..

It's just one of those sticks where you have to find your own container, so at least it's not as bulky as the *full* boil-in-bag machine that comes with its own dedicated bucket. You make a good point though - maybe the girls can use it to make a hot tub for their Barbies or something, and then I don't ever have to let it be used on food. I wish it could at least circulate tomato sauce or something useful.
