Super bowl half time show

Sorry about your Chiefs dj. We got a KC neighbor who flies a Chiefs flag 24/7. Most of the games leading up to Super Bowl were awesome. KCs Superbowl history is just getting started. My wife is from Cinci and her family is SO grateful to be going to a Superbowl. They are besides themselves.

Our menu today....Cinci Chilli, Cinci Chili coneys, ABT, White Castle sliders, various buffalo boneless dippers. Ate the cheese curds last night. Time to fire up the crockpot and start reheating the chili, I made it on Friday and put it in freezer cause it's always better when it sits a day.

Smoking some wings and poppers.  Guacamole too.  We'll watch some of the game. Dunno how much - lost  some interest a couple weeks ago.........

When you smoke your wings do you crisp the skin on a hot grill before serving?  Haven't done wings in a long time on the smoker.

DJ your QB1 is the local sports hero here. He went to HS in my hood. Seems to be a nice young man.

His mom raised him. His dad sadly had big substance abuse demons and I've seen him panhandling in bars for drinks in the past. I believe he is cleaned-up more or less since his son became popular.

I'm doing them indirect on the Weber kettle but will finish them over the coals.  I'm not cooking enough to fire up the smoker today.

Not an overly dominant game on either side.  Post season was great this year!!  Half time show was interesting.  No wardrobe malfunctions is always a positive.  Our family Bengal fans are bummed.  Maybe next year!!

Which commercials did you all like?  I thought the one with Arnold Schwarzenegger as Zeus was funny.  I did not see the Coinbase commercial, but heard is was a flop and people had trouble scanning the QR code.  Cool idea though!!!
