I've been seeing screen shots that my Scotts lawn fertilizer going for $75 per bag.
Today I picked 2 jumbo 10ksqft Scotts Bonus S at HD on sale at $38 reg $58
Lowes I checked was selling the same bag at $55.
Pool salt at Lowes is $8.
Fecking plants are expensive this year. a 3" jalapeno starter going for $5 each as well as 'maters the same height. Fecking hell.

I'm hearing fertilizer is thru the roof, buying early is probably recommended cause of supply. Fertilizer stocks are at 52 week highs. Thanks for info Mexas!! I wonder if plants are higher cause of fertilizer prices and cost of energy for greenhouses. Cost of labor probably contributed too. Brandon economics!!

Yeah, we just made a run by HD and Lowes so SWMBO could buy some plants for her herb garden boxes. Right at $5 a cup here too for garden plants. Little early to put stuff in the ground here still. I'm planting some tomato seeds in trays this weekend.
Lumber still high as hell. I'm going to build a purple martin house and I'm literally going to have hundreds in it for wood. Using cedar planks so it'll last, and I'll need two sheets 1/2" exterior plywood at 45 per. Damn....

$5 a plant is expensive! It's too late for me to start seeds though. 4 to 5 Tom plants and some herbs and I'm good to go.

A lot of seedlings in the basement here. I started doing that a few years ago.
