We're still very on the fence about hosting the party this year, but maybe we'll do a scaled back version of it. Since bbq is so low-effort and I probably won't brew anything, that means there's ample time to put into some light show upgrades.
I have a few thoughts on music, and am also considering building a spooky tree out of pvc. But man, 8" fittings can really add up in price. So I'm still trying to toy with ideas for physical fixtures. I bought 20 feet of side glow 3mm fiber optic line, with no real plans for it. Any thoughts there?

Since pulled pork is pretty much idiot-proof, you ought to rent out Cinna to cater.
I know from the past your party is pretty massive. How many peeps usually?
People come for your brew. Don't let them down.

Normally about 50, so not a blowout, but definitely a house full.
I have done pork for the party in the past, but when the prices aren't stupid, I typically do a couple packer cut briskets and then do them all as "burnt ends." After an eye opening trip to KC in the mid 2000s, that's always been my favorite crowd pleaser.

Man, the new fixture really added to my programming time this year. Though I had my opening on Sunday, I just now finished the last of my 20 minute music set. I did eliminate one song from my original list. I just don't have another one in me! Haven't been to bed before midnight in two weeks lol.
Pretty happy with it, though. Now if only it would stop raining at some point, I could go out and fix one little hardware thing, and claim victory for this year's show!

I'd never done AC/DC prior to this year. Highway to Hell is my closer. I'll post a vid soon. Need a break in the weather!
