so we finally got this thing in the house, i know its not high end security, but i'm pleased with the purchase. down the road some day i'll have a nicer one, other priorities for the time, when we move again I'll put in a nicer safe. this one is better than I was expecting for the price, basically a few bucks more than a simple Stack-On brand locker.

All you really need is something too heavy for them to carry and takes too much time to open.

it's got big lag bolts that go thru the floor, I haven't put them in tho, it weighs about 350lbs without the guns/ammo in it, pretty sure it would take a coordinated effort to remove it, prior knowledge and a dolly at the very least

I know I damned near burst a testicle moving my empty safe with a dolly. Good luck moving that fucker now.
