Even though he's not a member here, he could use some vibes. He hit a patch of ice and collided with a semi. Fractured a couple of vertebrae and will require several month of rehab. From the hospital pics he posted on FB, there is no paralysis and he is in good spirits.

Oh man. That's horrible. Yeah, back injuries at his/our age are no joke. Here's hoping for a good recovery and the support he needs.

Ouch, hate to hear that. Screw up a back, too great a chance of never getting it completely fixed/recovered.
