Oooo! Mushroom curry! My wife LOVES mushrooms. I might have to make that for her if it's not too spicy. She don't like spicy, except for me of course Smile

I think I'm going to have chicken tikka masala tomorrow... going to marinate the chicken for about 24 hours.
Just made some yogurt so I have all the ingredients ready.

British food generally sucks balls and has little flavor. Chicken tikka masala is a notable exception to that rule. Enjoy!

I decided to do it tomorrow since I had ham in the fridge I need to use..
I boiled a pound of elbow macaroni, in a pan I heated a couple of cups of milk, added one of those Frontiera flavor pouches, thickened with some corn starch, added a bag of shredded cheese along with some cumin and cayenne. Got out a big bowl and mixed it all together with a can of diced tomatoes and a ton of diced ham. Put it all in a couple of ungreased ( I forgot!) pyrex dishes, put some shredded cheese on top, and it's all baking at 350*.
I've made variations of this many times and it always is a hit. Freezes well too!

I also threw in a small can of sliced jalapanos... woulda added another if I had it.

That sounds interesting. I'll bet a bag of frozen peas would work in there too.

It's just some jazzed up baked mac n cheese, but it's tasty and a meal in itself.
You could put in sliced pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, and pizza sauce for that matter..moz instead of cheddar.

Bacon Mac-N-Cheese would be tasty!

I thought about bacon but couldn't come up with a 'theme' for it..
Maybe a bacon cheeseburger mac and cheese - ground beef, bacon, cheddar cheese, and tomato?
Maybe adding bacon is fine on it's own?

Yeah, tikka and toad in the hole are both on point... can't think of much else they do right.
