That's crazy, he's lucky he didn't get killed.
My first Polish Tokarev blew up in my face the only time I'd ever run modern commercial ammo through it ( Sellier & Bellot) but fortunately I just got a bunch of small facial cuts from the brass..
It was scary though, crazier than the time one of my Yugo Toks went full auto.
