Supplements are generally useful if you have a deficiency. So, if you're not producing enough collagen due to some dietary deficit, then the supplements will help. I recently started taking a joint supplement (chondroitin and glucosamine). Given my heavy lifting schedule, i was apparently deficient and its helped joint recovery considerably.
So try it for a month or two. If you notice a difference, then it's worth your money (skin has a turnover of about 28 days). If you don't trash it and spend the cash on booze. So thirsty.
