Just brewed my usual arrogant bastard clone. Two weeks ago I brewed my usual IPA and I throw the AB on top of the primary yeast cake of the IPA... usually explosive fermentation.
I also kegged my blueberry mead. Had about a 3/4 glass (16oz glass) of that as I always do and another glass of the IPA as I transferred to the secondary. I am riding a solid buzz on that shit. Damn.
ETA... and just to add proof to how buzzed I am I forgot to turn on the cold water to my counter flow chiller when I transferred the hot wort of the AB to the primary yeast cake of my IPA. FML.
Luckily its only 1/2 of the yeast killed as I do 10gal batches. I have to head to the store to get some liquid yeast to ferment the 1st 5 gal with.

I need to get brewing, but life has been hectic. I've had a 50lb sack of grain stashed in the corner of my foyer for 3 weeks, surprised my wife hasn't killed me yet. Maybe Monday morning. I have a feeling my last keg is getting ready to blow.

I'm looking to brew this weekend. I have a big pool party next week followed by relatives coming a few weeks later. I do have about 5 kegs now but I have to have some in reserve. I'll either do a Baltic Porter or experiment with the same grain bill and use Bananza yeast and try a Banana porter.

Brewed something different. I used my regular grain bill for Baltic Porter but used Bananza yeast. A banana Porter? We'll see...

Just put a pack of Star Party on the stirplate. I hope it lives up to the description - never used it before. Went to the local homebrew shop to buy it and a bag of grain. First time I've been inside one in years.
