I replaced a dishwasher recently, and now I have to get rid of the old one. Only the normal trash hauler stopped taking bulk items, which means I have to drive 45 minutes each way to the dump this morning to drop this thing off.
At least gas is still somewhat cheap, I guess.

Sawzall it up and put it in your regular can. They are very lightly built and it takes no time at all. Hell give your boy the saw and let him have at it

sometimes when you pop for the delivery/install of the new one they'll just take the old with them. up in IL this alone makes it work while. down here not so much, we can go to the local dump 1 day per week with big stuff to dump

Yeah, I just picked this one up myself at Best Buy. It would have been like $50 to have them come take the old one. If I would have known at the time that my trash hauler wasn't taking them (usually $25), I probably would have just paid them. But I had a free afternoon and a need for a dishwasher, so I really didn't want to dick around arranging a delivery.
