Memorial Day Weekend
#1
Man, I've been busy as shit. Had a house full of In-laws where I cook all the meals. I have also been making my FIL my beotch using him for outside chores. Thankfully he's handy like that and likes me to leave him a chore list.

Got rid of company yesterday so muh-bride and I went to a friends lake house and sat on the covered dock while it pissed rain. Overall a good time. Today will be recovery and getting the house back to normal before getting back to the grind tomorrow.

Had some guests as well. BBQ, pastrami, pizzas, and a laundry list of beverages.
Today it started with rain, but it's actually shaping up pretty nice now.

Fucking rain. It needs to stop so they can grade around my house and I can maybe someday grow grass!

I've just got a basement shell.
Still living in the rv.

Knocked out a little room in the barn to be an office/bedroom.
I'm fixing to get testy with my builder if I dont see some lumber getting stuck together this week.

No bags. We do real bbq here.

Lump charcoal.  Wood.  Pork shoulder.
Done.

As usual, I'm at work on a holiday. I thought about taking today off, but I really need to finish up an internal investigation and the extra $700 in holiday pay doesn't hurt. Smile

It's great. It's just not what's meant when one says "bbq" without additional adjectives.
