Neil takes a stand....and gets OWNED!
#1
The “Heart of Gold” and “Harvest Moon” singer earlier this week penned an open letter to his manager and label asking them to remove his music from the service, saying it is spreading fake information about Covid-19 vaccines through Mr. Rogan’s show. “They can have Rogan or Young. Not both,” he wrote.

Fun Fact: Neil sold off the rights to his music so he can't say shit about where it's played.

Also he's a nobody that had a couple hits in the 70's.

"I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it", is no longer a thing.

I don't agree with that. Harvest Moon was a fantastic album, and he saw a significant surge in popularity for a few years when he performed with Pearl Jam in the late 90s.

Still, yeah, he way overstepped to try and be "the man," advocating for censorship, and he got his peepee slapped for it.

I bet Rogan is loving the support. Neil obviously has a very high opinion of himself.

Yeah,  Neil Young as a musician is excellent but I'm glad he didn't get what he demanded. F that.

Rogan brings in too much $$$ for Spotify to boot him.

Saying this I've never actually listened to the guy.

People old enough to be big Young fans are too old to know wtf Spotify is or how to access it.

I don't use Spotify. I'm plenty happy with Pandora. But if I decided to subscribe for $10 a month so long as they don't cave to cancel culture, do I get to deduct that as a political donation?
