Easter on the beach
#1
Truck is packed full of fishing gear, my daughter, brother and nephew are meeting me down there tomorrow.   Beers will be drank, sharks and reds will be caught and cigars will be smoked.

Be good while I am away

Augie, I think you would enjoy the Easter Service here in my area of Charleston. Most of the local churches team up for a Sunrise Service at Magnolia Plantation. Very pretty - you drive in by torch light, be seated, and the service begins as the light allows. Very nice, very humble. Bonus is that you can use your program for a free admission to the grounds later in the day for a tour.

That sounds beautiful!  We have a magnolia tree in our backyard that has the prettiest flowers.  Outdoor services are so unique and don't occur enough here.  The closest we get is Palm Sunday where everyone starts outside for a short time and then moves inside.  Many folks appreciation of Faith is visually thru nature, it's a shame folks don't worship outside more!  We recently read about a Catholic Church in the Corpus Christi area that has outdoor services.

No pictures yet, we got it n town around six and flew a couple of shark line south then discovered there is a MASSIVE amount of weeds in the water that drug our lines down the beach.

We did amazing on Saturday my daughter started the morning off with the biggest red we have ever caught at 48 inches

then followed it up with the biggest shark we have ever caught at 6ft 4 inches, a full 8 inches bigger than she is.  Best part is it was previously caught and tagged, so when she reports in she will get the history of the shark and some swag

She pulled in a smaller 52 inch bull shark later on to finish off the weekend.
