Terrible news this morning.
#1
Some of you may remember we took in a young man when his mother moved out of state for her military boyfriend.
Family to us, just not blood.

He moved out after high school and lived with his grandparents then when his biological father was released from prison in Utah he moved out there.
Unfortunately he fell in with a bad crowd the last year or so.
He's always struggled with drugs.  The tragedy of his life was one thing after another kicked him down.

He overdosed and died last night.

We are all consumed with sadness and regret for not finding a way to help him.

Pour one out for my adopted son Jay Milner today.

And if you see a person with a life of tragedy reach out lift up,  and don't quit lifting up.

I wish I had done so much more.

God, what terrible news..
Sorry to hear this. You guys did all you could with giving him a chance but he has to accept the chance that is given... a shame he didn't.

Damn, Buzz. Sorry to hear that. Don't beat yourself up too badly over this. I've seen a lot of broken individuals over the past 20+ years. Sometimes you can do everything right and it still turns out tragic.

Vibes. You fought the good fight, man. Gave him and everyone who loved him more time than if he'd gone it alone.
