Some of you may remember we took in a young man when his mother moved out of state for her military boyfriend.
Family to us, just not blood.
He moved out after high school and lived with his grandparents then when his biological father was released from prison in Utah he moved out there.
Unfortunately he fell in with a bad crowd the last year or so.
He's always struggled with drugs. The tragedy of his life was one thing after another kicked him down.
He overdosed and died last night.
We are all consumed with sadness and regret for not finding a way to help him.
Pour one out for my adopted son Jay Milner today.
And if you see a person with a life of tragedy reach out lift up, and don't quit lifting up.
I wish I had done so much more.
