So after a pretty long break from the blew bored I checked in only to notice that some sort of drama unfolded and now the place is split between here and there. So I thought I'd check in, say hello and keep the food topics in line as that's really the only stuff I care about posting anyway. To those I haven't talked to in forever, howdy fellers!!

Boy named Sioux! Good to see you about. After giving up Facebook a few years back, I kind of lost track of what some folks were doing out in the real world. How's the hot dog and butcher biz? Hoping this virus mess hasn't taken too much of a toll on you.

Nice to hear from everybody! It's been a crazy time to be in the food business for sure. You don't get into this line of work if you don't think you can survive a nuclear holocaust, so we've pivoted and are doing better than ever. Both the restaurant and butcher shop are crazy busy. Butcher shop business doubled last year, it was a bit overwhelming at times but we made it work. Had to deal some bullshit this year with a break-in and some other stuff, but hey, we're still here. The wife and I bought a cottage across the lake from her family's place up in the UP, we're starting renovations this year. Plans are to spend part of our retirement up there, we sure enjoy the peace and quiet.

And my POS insurance agent pretty much told me I'm hosed, I plan to file a claim anyway cause fuck that guy. If someone stole Dave's guitars then he got it worse than I did, he's got good taste in that dept. |
