I've been saying this since it slipped out of china. Might even become an end-of life disease. Covid, Cancer, and CardiopulmonaryvasculitiscockbitingCOBRAz!. But, really, that's where the data are pointing. In some immunocompromised patients, COVID is able to adapt to antibody production faster than it can be eliminated. If you can kill it fast, you've won the round. But the rounds keep going until one day you lose.
The mRNA vaccination process can break this cycle, but it needs regulatory support for rapid release of updated iterations. The planet can thank America later with their anger.
