My in-laws got Round 1 Vac simply by going up to the convention center where they were handing out Vacs at the end of the day and got some that were about to be thrown out because nobody claimed them in time.

Might be worth a "shot" to try that.

Our county has an 'on call' list where if they have no-shows for appointments, they'll start calling that list. Being 64 and retired, I don't hit any of the first groups, so I've got my name in there. Although, I suspect they look for the most vulnerable there too, which I understand.
