Lol. We used to just mock forums like that.
I mean, well I guess we kinda still are. But presumably some of the folks on there are still from the old days and used to be decent people.

My son just tested positive Monday. I guess it’s running through his school this past couple of weeks.

Vibes man, how's he feeling? The one saving grace through all this is that kids generally do not have a tough time with covid. I mean, the media will have you believe otherwise, but it's the reality.

Trub it is running thru the schools here in river Iowa too. The grade school keeps losing teachers to quarantine and is begging for folks to sub. I see lots of herd immunity positives in keeping the schools open and allowing Covid to do it's thing. So far, thank the Lord, there's been no serious illnesses. I guess we knew most kids are strong and handle the illness well. Glad that nothing is being shut down.
Trub, was it hard to get a test and what made you decide to test? Just curious, it is something we have discussed on more than one occasion.

Just a very slight headache. He was right as rain by the time test results came back after two days. There were no rapid test appointments left in the area and I didn’t know how readily available the OTC ones were. I just grabbed some of the Abbott ones so that I can test everyone before sending the brood back out into society.
He gets allergies, so if not for rumors of it tearing through the school, I probably would never have taken him in for a test. He’s 12, so I’m on the fence about just talking him in to going and getting a shot after this.

Take care our yer Chillrens, Lou.
I have an employee that has 5 Chillrens. 2 of them have already had the Coof 3 times. Seems they have some kinda auto-immune thing. I don't think they had bad symptoms tho.

Our kids have had cold like symptoms over the past few weeks, probably the Wu Flu but who knows?! I'm thinking our whole family has had IT, wish they did more antibody testing to verify!

Glad he's getting over it. SWMBO and I met with our financial advisor last week. He had recovered from a case of it. His two kids got it in school and brought it home. His kids did ok too, but he said it kicked his ass.

I haven't heard much about the "booster" lately. I think I'm pretty robust as I didn't get it when my wife did. I did get the Trump vax when it was available to me, tho. I'll probably wait and see on the 3rd shot...

"(CNN)Merck and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics announced on Friday early result that indicate their experimental oral antiviral drug molnupiravir might halve the risk of death or hospitalization from Covid-19."
And the Covid management plot thickens. Will be interesting to see what future treatments will surface. Considering there are 75 million people who don't want the shot im thinking that pharma companies will figure out ways to service those folks somehow?!
