My mom's gonna try and get her first dose at a drive thru clinic today. I'm curious to see how the process goes.

Uniformity and transparency are important in the logistics of vaccine distribution IMHO.

That seems pretty greasy of him, but I'm sure he's just looking to salvage some semblance of dignify after basically being responsible for New York killing all those old people with what everyone else seemed to understand was an absolutely horrible policy.

I haven't heard anything on the vaccine from my doctor's office yet.
I might call them today and tell them my mom is an illegal alien who uses the pronouns zie and zir. That will probably speed things up...

My mom's waiting in line at the drive thru clinic. She got there at 6 a.m. they started giving shots at 9 a.m.
This was posted on their health dept Facebook page at 830. "If you are not in line now for the vaccine, please do not come. We have 1,000 doses and more people than that already waiting or stuck in traffic. Then sheriff’s department is asking that people avoid the area."

She got her shot at 10 a.m. Hopefully she will be less anxious now. Maybe consider giving grandkids a hug?!

A couple updates on potentially bad Moderna batch of shots and a Covid strain that is possibly more resistant to the vaccine.
