We just booked a trip to Vegas next month. Considering getting the vaccine before the trip.

I see a few people doing the facebook vaccine filter on their profile.

Very few.

But then again I associate with very few that are die hard liberal vaxxers.

Hey badogg, it looks like your hunch/experience was correct regarding inflated covid death tolls. Just read that Alameda County just reduced its numbers by about 25% after an audit revealed that they were counting anyone who died while having the virus as a "covid death," regardless of whether it was a cause or even a contributor.

Color me shocked.

What are the odds they'll return 25% of that sweet, sweet Fed Covid money?

A CDC safety panel has determined there is a "likely association" between the Pfizer and Moderna shots and cases of myocarditis and pericarditis in vaccine recipients.

1200 cases being investigated out of 150,000,000 people. I'll take my chances with the vaccine.

I think any association is due to the adjuvants used in the vaccine, not the "active ingredient." Going forward, they should be able to refine the cocktail and reduce secondary symptoms.

Same, but at the same time, I’m not going to bust on people for thinking hard about it, or choosing not to give it to their kids.  What’s kind of funny is how many folks are getting indignant about anybody who’s hesitant over getting the vaccine because of unknown long-term effects, while generally being the same nitwits who blathered on about all the possible unknown longer term impacts of “long COVID” eight months ago.

Wife and I are still VAC holdouts.
We are talking a wait and see in a couple years approach. We are both in the low, low risk area.
