I think Vagus can back me up, when I say mRNA is not a new technology. We're not spring chickens anymore, dude. This shit kills. In the end it is your choice and you shouldn't be forced, but I would wouldn't dig my heels in until I did some open minded research.

Let us know how it goes. I got a buddy that was totally against getting shot, but because he likes to travel a lot he is considering getting J&J next week. I'm gonna be watching closely and have been considering myself too. I think we are fixing to get a butt kicking up here in Iowa. This thing ain't going away anytime soon.

I got the Pfizer round last spring. Day after felt like crap, but that was it. I know the % effectiveness drops and it isn't bulletproof but when I look at the overall advantages actually being observed-lower chance of getting covid, and generally reduced effects if you do get it vs. risks of side effects which are minimal overall-yeah I'm glad I got it. And I'll go along with the booster if and when its decided its warranted.
Post script-I figure the shots beat the hell out of cattle dewormer anyways.

But the vaccines should be available in the near future to prevent severe illness. I mean, if we start finding that covid is producing chronic neurological problems, then there will be a reason for all of us to juice as much vaccine as we can, constantly. OK so I'm making small baby steps here. I agreed to get tested for the antibodies tomorrow 0900 along with the boss lady. I'm curious I already had the 'rona and just shrugged that shit off like I do the Daily Hangover. Wife had *something* last week as she had body aches, nausea and weakenss for a few days. Never lost taste/smell tho. We were around my SIL that week who now has tested positive. |
