I posted this ATOP...
Masks are not effective at reducing risk of infection with Delta and Omicron. Delta has 1000x viral load and Omicron has 70x of Delta. assuming that Alpha has a viral load of 100 and the N95 masks are 85% effective (assuming universal and correct use)... 15 viral particles escape the mask. ![[Image: d5vIvNb.png]](https://i.imgur.com/d5vIvNb.png) The above diagram demonstrates the amount of viral particulates that are escaping the mask assuming the base viral load of 100 in Alpha.
